Váci street and The Vörösmarty square

Váci Street is one of the main pedestrian thoroughfares and perhaps the most famous street of downtown Budapest, Hungary 

It features a large number of restaurants and shops catering primarily to the tourist market. Váci utca is one of the main shopping streets in Budapest. Among the retailers located here are: Zara, H&M, Mango, ESPRIT, Douglas AG, Swarovski, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Nike. The street opens to Vörösmarty Square where you can admire the lion fountain.


-In the middle of the Vörösmarty square you can find a mini-park where you can sit down after the tiring shopping tour to have a rest and you can watch the bustling city part. In the summer you can take a walk outside while having an ice-cream and in the winter you can sit into the famous Gerbeaud confectionery.


-Gerbeaud was first opened in 1858 on 14th October. It is famous for its history and it’s delicious products. You can find cakes, sliced cakes, breakfast offers, salads-sandwiches and even soups. Of course, the people mostly turning in to the confectionery because it’s ice-creams and sundaes. If you are here, near the Gerbeaud then it is a must-have. I am sure this will be an eternal memory.
