Retro Experience Center Budapest

You can jump in a Lada and travel back to Socialist Hungary to drive around the 10-story buildings. See for yourself (and taste it too!) what Bertalan Farkas took into space in 1980, or you can try out as a newscaster in front of the cameras in a retro hungarian news studio. 

If you grew up in late ’80s, you can re-live it, and the younger generations can now understand the life of their grandparents, and all the weird stuff in the kitchen they had no idea how they work! After the museum you can also try our bistro, we offer a variety of retro foods and beverages. For example you can try the most famous hungarian summer drink Bambi, or cool yourself down with a Kőbányai beer. For lunch or dinner we serve sandwiches, hot dog, flat bread, and for sweets you can see if you remember the taste of the Turbó bubblegum or the rooster shaped lollypop.
